Congratulations everyone involved with Rollies 4 mice on their 1st Birthday
(a really cool local event) and have had my musical socks blown clean off. First off we had a nice stompy set from U.E.P which was relatively breakcore free(the crowd was loving the breaks but you all know by now they are not my favourite bits) and got us going nicely, then a 2 hour mix from The Producer which was quality and if that wasn't enough we then we had Mad Emma playing her debut in public (many of us have heard Emma mix and knew she had talent) but she blew us all away with an amazing variety of speedcore up and down on tempo, mad samples a great selection of tracks not just kicks and various samples saying "Fuck" I was really entertained and you could see she was loving the reaction she got as the whole place was stompin like crazy, everyone really going mental in excellent style responding to every tempo change with real enthusiasm I think many had never heard speedcore before but they fuckin loved it. Any promotors out there who want something fresh at their nights hardcore and speedcore wise should get in touch she was impressive, the local newspaper named her "The Queen of Speedcore"
